Niccolo Somaschi

Co-Founder and CTO Quandela

Niccolo has over years experience in semiconductor and quantum photonics, focused on their integration into useful quantum technologies. Since 2017, he is the cofounder and CTO of Quandela, where he leads the effort in building photonic quantum computers that scale. Before joining Quandela, Niccolo has worked as senior researcher at the French National Research Center (CNRS) and in several academic laboratories around Europe, as Marie Sklodowska-Curie fellow. Niccolo holds a MSc in Physics from University of Milan-Bicocca and a PhD in Physics from the University of Southampton (UK).
