David Von Dollen

Head of AI for Enterprise Data Management IT Volkswagen Group of America

David is responsible for overall strategy, technical architecture and design, and project management for A.I. research and applications development for The VW Group Regional Competency Center serving North and South America. David holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology, and is currently working towards a PhD at Leiden University focusing on quantum computing and artificial intelligence. He has over ten years' experience developing and deploying data and machine learning products for enterprise companies across variety of domains. His current work includes investigating near-term, practical, real-world use cases for NISQ-era quantum computers, specifically focusing on quantum-enhanced machine learning and optimization algorithms for industrial applications.
