Program Executive, Quantum-communications Science & Technologies (QS&T) Space Communications and Navigation (SCaN) NASA

Dr. Angela Hodge is the Program Executive for NASA Space Communications and Navigation (SCaN).  She serves as the lead for quantum technology develop activities and oversees the work performed by NASA Centers involved in this program.  The overarching goal of the work is to establish space-based quantum communications systems and networks, which can be leveraged by researchers and academicians who are interested in performing quantum experiments via both ground-based systems and satellite communications.  To make this vision a reality, NASA SCaN is investing in adaptive optics, photon entanglement methods, and detectors.
