I have more than 15 years of experience in embedded security design. It includes research on and implementation of innovative and low cost protection techniques (crypto/no crypto based) against side-channel attacks, fault attacks and denial-of-service attacks. I am expert on quantum-secure communication design and implementation and quantum technologies. Furthermore I have experience in development of hardware and software for embedded systems in general, including verification, design optimization and the inclusion of quality-of-service in network-based systems. I have coordinated several international projects where I collaborated with industry and research institutes. Many of my research works have been awarded at international conferences. I am program committee member of the USENIX, NDSS (Network and Distributed System Security Symposium), ISVLSI (3D Technology, security track), VLSISoC (Low power, Security track), DATE (Low power track), ReCoSoC (security track), Reconfig (Reconfigurable methodologies Track), permanent reviewer of ACM Journal on Emerging Technologies in Computing Systems, IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security, IEEE Transactions on Computers, IEEE Transactions on VLSI.
