Most recently Michael was at NextEra, the leading renewable energy company in North America. Michael’s work there started with building the market analytics pipeline. The Meter Analytics User Interface, an analytics platform for the over 6 million smart meters of Florida Power and Light, was his next major build at NextEra. He then moved into deploying energy trading, scheduling, and hedging engines using a variety of AI/ML algorithms to cover the power, oil, and natural gas markets. Just prior to joining Dell, Michael was helping to make investment decisions in the corporate Venture Capital group of NextEra as the lead for technology and commercialization strategy. Before leaving NextEra, he had been involved in deals across multiple stages from Series A through PIPEs and deSPAC. At Dell, Michael manages global partnerships across the financial services, energy and high-performance computing sectors for the Unstructured Data Solutions division.
