Joe Rothermich

Joe Rothermich is the Head of StarMine Quantitative Research at the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), a group that applies traditional quantitative methodologies alongside emerging technologies such as machine learning, text mining, and the use of alternative data to create quantitative models and new insights for investment professionals.

Previously at LSEG/Refinitiv, Joe was a Senior Director of Innovation at Refinitiv Labs. Prior to LSEG, Joe was a portfolio manager and Director of Quantitative Strategies at Lincoln Vale LLC, founder of a Fintech startup, and a consultant at Accenture and data science consulting firms. Joe received an M.Sc. in Natural Computation from the University of Birmingham, UK, and a B.S. in Systems Analysis from Miami University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
