Xander Savenberg is the Founder and CIO of Bastion Asset Management. In this role, Xander is responsible for the overall development of the quantitative strategies of the firm. Bastion focuses on a Quantitative Alpha investment approach across a number of carefully developed and refined alphas, targeting the generation of returns independent of market directionality. Xander has significant, in-depth experience in data science and quantitative research, and has played key roles in the development of equity market trading alphas in his previous roles at BlueCrest and Citadel. This experience provided an excellent platform to transpose key elements of traditional asset investment, to the investment into digital assets.
