Head Unconstrained and Global Fixed Income Strategies Credit Suisse

Valentin is Head of the Unconstrained and multi-asset strategies team, managing discretionary and systematic risk orientated strategies implemented in UCITS format. He is also a member of the Credit Suisse Global Investment Committee in charge of the Strategic and Tactical Asset allocation. Prior to this role, Valentin was global co-head of Short-Term Rates trading at UBS, running the G11 and EM FX and Rates trading. For several years after joining UBS, Valentin oversaw the Swiss Francs rates trading business as well as the overall Rates trading in Switzerland. His expertise in funding and liquidity dynamics made him closely work with Central Banks and Investment Bank’s Treasuries on dynamic allocation strategies. Before that,he worked in various prop-trading and market-making roles at Credit Suisse in Zurich and Natixis in Paris, covering a broad range of derivatives and money-markets instruments. Valentin holds a Msc in Engineering from a known French engineering schools. He is an avid diving instructor and long-distance runner.
