This year’s Quant Strats conference was a very professionally ran event, with sessions well attended where participants were heavily engaged in dialogue and interest in the topics discussed. The conference was a good opportunity to get together with like-minded people from the Quant space to exchange about latest ideas and trends. The conference had a special focus on IT and data infrastructure and systems that made the setting different from other quant conferences that usually focus more on investment strategies and opportunities in the market.

The type of audience Quant Strats attracts, it’s a good sort of environment for practitioners to brainstorm ideas, understand what’s happening in one fund versus others, and kind of see where the direction is going. So that’s perfectly brilliant for practitioners, academics and vendors like us.
