Peter leads the data governance & compliance team in the regulatory branch of the Bank of England, the Prudential Regulation Authority. His team are part of the PRA’s regtech, data and innovation division and work alongside data scientists, communication and training leads and project managers to help the PRA make better use of data. Peter’s team have a broad remit, covering everything from the PRA’s spending on external data licences to the ethical implications of AI.

Peter has worked in central banking and financial regulation since 2010. He has held roles in insurance and banking policy, supervision, operations and financial stability.
