Paul Staples has had a 20 year career founding, building and scaling tech and business platforms across multiple industries, including banking. Paul has been involved in Banking as a Service and Embedded Banking for many years and is an active commentator and advocate for safe and well regulated EmFin. He currently advises a number of PE and VC firms as was formerly the Global Head of Banking as a Service and Embedded Finance Proposition for HSBC, where he was charged with building and scaling the business through solving complex banking needs directly where the consumer needs them. Paul has also founded several technology companies over the years, from Oil&Gas Market places during the dot.com days and Carbon depository solutions, to more recently building a SaaS platform that solves the logistics complexity for Ports and Construction sites not for last mile but last foot.
