Mariya Brown heads EMEA Innovation for BNY Mellon Pershing, focusing on accelerating the firm's digital initiatives, exploring and validating ideas, transforming the way we work, and partnering with clients and the wider ecosystem to develop solutions that service our clients and shape the industry.

Mariya has over 25 years of experience leading product and technology organisations across fintech and capital markets domains at Credit Suisse, JP Morgan, UBS, CMC Markets, FastMatch, Mycelium Blockchain and Finastra; both in the US and the UK. She brings a wealth of domain knowledge to transform and modernize existing solutions, with a strong motivation to bring the “best in class” product innovation and to solve complex business problems with the use of user research and analysis, new technologies, and targeted software development.

Prior to her joining BNY Mellon, she was leading Treasury transformation at Finastra (third largest Fintech Company) with an objective to converge and modernize several legacy systems, to ensure client retention, improve user experience and to establish a solid footprint for future growth.
