João heads the U.K. FinTech Sales franchise for J.P. Morgan Payments.

João helps position J.P. Morgan as a leading bank for Tech companies across the U.K. and the E.U. regions.

Working closely across Payments, Corporate Banking and Investment Banking, he drives efforts in the FinTech industry, establishing relationships with clients in all stages of growth, enabling their business development & growth. In his role, João is responsible for the business results, driving strategy and managing business risk and leads a team of driven sales specialists

João joined J.P. Morgan from Citi, where he previously spent 9 years of his career, and held roles across Markets and Treasury Trades and Solutions, adding to the breadth of his experience.

João is an enthusiast of all things Tech and Payments and wants to create change by having an active role in the industry, representing J.P. Morgan across the global payments events.

João has a BA degree from UC, Portugal & MBA from DBS, Ireland.
