Joan is a Global Product Owner in Vodafone Group, driving the retail transformation of Vodafone local markets. In addition, he has been working with M-Pesa, the most successful mobile money solution in the developing world which has significantly improved people's lives. Joan has been responsible for developing and driving innovative solutions and initiatives to improve the products and services of Vodafone and M-Pesa, ultimately benefiting millions of customers.  

He has a strong background, in both Business and Technology, supported by two degrees, BSc in Business Informatics and MSc in Information Technology, which has helped him to better understand the business needs and quickly adapt to changes in a dynamic marketplace. In addition to his daily job, Joan is also passionate about Innovation, Leadership, Entrepreneurship, FinTech, Futurism, Women Empowerment and an active member in many technology and innovation conferences, with unique insights on global innovation trends.
