Chris Hill is an experienced commercial technology and regulatory lawyer working at Fox Williams, recognised as one of the UK's leading fintech experts by Legal 500 and Chambers. Prior to joining Fox Williams in 2024, he led the fintech practice at Kemp Little, which was acquired by Deloitte Legal in 2021.

Chris advises clients, from start-ups to major institutions, on contracts for technology, IP, and data. He also specialises in regulatory matters, including payments, e-money, and open banking. Chris helps early-stage start-ups establish their businesses, guides scale-ups as they form partnerships and assists major institutions in innovating traditional service models.

Known for his pragmatic sector knowledge, he ensures commercial and regulatory compliance in technology and data projects. Chris is also a regular speaker on fintech and payments, an advocate for fintech start-ups, and a seasoned negotiator dedicated to achieving successful deals.

FINTECH Circle will showcase its 5th short Film titled "FINTECH Capital London" and why London is the best place for Fintech companies to start, grow, scale and stay. The film explains the positive impact of the Capital Markets Industry Taskforce, the new listing rules announced by the FCA in July 2024 to boost growth and innovation on UK stock markets and the important role the London Stock Exchange plays for scale up companies to access the capital needed.
